A while ago my youngest got stuck in the mud, his bigger brother thankfully came along to help him....hopefully a  metaphor for life!
I have used some gorgeous Jenni Bowlin papers and embellies here, a new fav of mine.

Alex..

It was my good friends 30th birthday recently and I decided to make a couple of framed layouts of her two children as a present. This one I can share now. I have used my final sketch as part of the creative team  at Creative Scrappers for this layout and lots of yummy CORE'DINATIONS cardstock.

That tag and banner are from here.

not his teacher...

A while ago while I was helping my eldest with his writing he promptly told me "you're not the teacher", I must say it did hurt, A because He had never seen me in my teaching role at a school before and B more importantly soon he would be going off to school to a whole new world!
I took advantage of the Cosmo Cricket sketch challenge and used some yummy odds and ends pattern paper to complete my layout.

Gorgeous Scrapware doily frame, MLBOW apple pin and newsprint banner from  my fav etsy shop here.

he writes...

My eldest  has been writing simple sentences for a while now and I wanted to get one down in my scrapbook so I don't forget. More gorgeous Crate paper pattern paper, Jenni Bowlin tag, vintage crepe paper which I used to make the pennant,  and my new fav these old (LOL) prima canvas letters. PS He does love to draw as well ...that little girl is his best friend Kate who he just adores!

Me...

It's not often I do a layout about me, but this month over at Core'dinations we were asked to create a layout about ourselves to be introduced. Here I have used the gorgeous Fancy pants Core impressions cardstock with a hint of sanding.

OOO my most favourite doily frame from Scrapware and that gorgeous pin and banner of course from here.

the kindy mini...

Recently I purchased this hodge podge mini book from Jenni Bowlin and was waiting for the right photos before I played. Well these photos from kindy were just perfect. I wanted to record some of Addison's favourite activities.
I have layered lots of goodies on each page.

his best friend..

A while ago I asked my eldest who his best friend was. He replied "daddy"...well that just melted my heart......
I haved dived straight into my goodies I got from Coredinations OMG their cardstock is just divine,  If your LSS doesn't carry  it be sure to give them a gentle nudge at it is just fabulous.
I have used some black magic as my background card, when you sand it the delish red shows through in a grungy way and Core impressions Jenni Bowlin months of years card pre cut to 6x4...how cool!
Do you also spy that chipboard doily frame and wings, they are of course from Scrapware and if you are headed to the Scrapbook and Papercraft show at Brisbane this weekend you might just happen to see this layout on display, be sure to drop by the Scrapware stand as I will be working there...Oh and before I go I have used more delish vintage map paper banner and pins from my very fav etsy store the greatest view.
